\n\tMankato, MN – The Thunder Bay Border Cats (12-15) snapped a five game loosing skid, as they claw past the Mankato MoonDogs (14-14) by a score of 9-5, in front of a crowd of 1,233, Tuesday night at Franklin Rogers Park.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tOffense was in no shortage as the Border Cats tallied 12 hits and the MoonDogs recorded 13 hits in the contest.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tCraig Nennig provided the offensive spark for the MoonDogs. Nennig hit a solo homerun in the fifth and also drove in a run on a sac fly in the first, finishing the day 3-for-5 with two RBI’s.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tSeveral other MoonDogs had productive nights at the plate. Kaden Moore added three hits in five trips and drove in one run. Paul Panaccione was also busy offensively as he went 3-for-4 with one RBI.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tKyle Weston also went 2-for-5 with a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tMoonDogs starter Reece Eddins (0-2) went 5 1\/3 innings while allowing five runs and striking out two. Eddins would take the loss, his second of the year.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tFor Thunder Bay, Jared James would go 3-for-4 with 2 RBI’s, Eddie Posavec IV and Mikael Mogues both had 2 RBI’s.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tStarter Cole Stapler (1-1) would pick up the win going five innings allowing three runs while striking out two.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe MoonDogs and Border Cats will square off again tomorrow, Wednesday, at The Frank for Christmas in June. Gates open at 6:05pm; first pitch is 7:05pm.\n<\/p>\n
