\n\tMankato, MN – The Mankato MoonDogs (5-6, 23-24) would win another wild one at Franklin Rogers Park Sunday night, against the Alexandria Blue Anchors (7-5, 19-28) as they would walk off for a third time this week and win by a score of 7-6, in front of a crowd of 1,088 fans.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Blue Anchors would catch lightning in a bottle as they would score three runs in the top of the ninth but the MoonDogs would answer back in the bottom. Kyle Weston would step in with the bases leaded in the bottom of the ninth and he would hit a deep fly to left center that would bring in the two winning runs.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tAll ten MoonDogs that made their way to the plate in the game would record at least one hit, as they tallied a total of 17 on the night.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tLeading the way for the MoonDogs would be Kyle Weston who went 3-for-5 with two RBI’s. Eric Schenck-Joblinske went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI’s. Five other MoonDogs would have multiple hits in the ballgame.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tMoonDogs starter Brett Clark (4-0) would keep the game close as he worked six complete innings, allowing just three runs while scattering eight hits. He also struck out three Blue Anchors on the night.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tGraylon Brown (1-2), Blue Anchors starter, was an almost carbon copy of Clark as he went six innings allowing two runs, eight hits, while striking out three.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tFor the Blue Anchors, Anthony Marks would go 2-for-4 with two RBI’s. The outfielder also robbed Schenck-Joblinske of a hit in the bottom of the sixth with a runner on second with a diving catch in leftfield. Drew Fearing would go 2-for-5 also driving in two runs. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe win would go to Connor O’Brien (2-0) who worked in relief, and taking the loss would be Jake Matthys (1-4).\n<\/p>\n
\n\tTonight’s game was a fifth consecutive 1,000 plus person crowd at The Frank.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe MoonDogs will finish out the seven game home stand tomorrow, Monday, as they take on the Rochester Honkers, first pitch 7:05pm, with gates opening at 6:05pm, where it will be Twins Night presented by KTOE. \n<\/p>\n
