\n\tMankato, MN – The MoonDogs walked off for the fourth time in two weeks on Saturday night at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato, Minnesota in front of a crowd of 1,043.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Mankato MoonDogs (9-12, 27-30) were able to hand the Willmar Stingers (13-8, 36-19) just their second loss in their last seven games.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tIn the ninth the "Cardiac Kids" would again work their magic. Kyle Weston would reach on an error by the shortstop. This would bring up Paul Panaccione who ripped a single to left center. Brinn Bell would reach on a fielder’s choice to load the bases. Craig Nennig would step in with one out and the winning run 90 feet away. Nennig would take the 1-2 pitch to dead center for a sacrifice fly. A strong throw to the plate would come in but the tag on a headfirst slide by Weston would be late, as the MoonDogs would come away with the win.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tFor the MoonDogs, David Metzgar would continue to stay hot as he added two RBI’s in the game. Four other ‘Dogs would have multi-hit games.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tDoing damage for the Singers would be the future Minnesota Golden Gopher Eddie Estrada as he went 3-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored. Three other Stingers would add a pair of hits in the game.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tBoth teams return to The Frank tomorrow, Sunday, for game two of the series for Baseball Card Night presented by Sports PiX where the first 500 kids will receive 2015 MoonDogs trading cards. Gates open at 5:05pm with first pitch at 6:05pm.\n<\/p>\n
