\n\tMankato, MN – The MoonDogs would use late inning offense for a second straight night to top the Stingers 4-3 at Franklin Rogers Park in Mankato, Minnesota in front of a crowd of 990.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tWith the win the Mankato MoonDogs (10-12, 28-30) would sweep the division power Willmar Stingers (13-9, 36-20) and start to claw their way back into the playoff race as they are just three games back from a wild-card playoff berth.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tTaking the bump for the MoonDogs and making his debut would be Tyler Liebert. He would make it through five innings with just one run allowed and scatter seven hits. Liebert would finish the night allowing two unearned runs, on ten hits, with two strikeouts over five innings. He would face the first three men of the sixth and be relieved by Samuel Myers (3-5) who stranded runners on the corners.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tIn the bottom of the sixth MoonDog infielder Craig Nennig would even the game with one swing. Nennig’s solo shot would tie the game at two, his fourth homerun of the season. Nennig would finish 3-for-4 with a homerun, three RBI’s and a run scored.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tDuring the home half of the seventh Nennig would do it again as he would double home what would be the winning run. Nennig would finish 3-for-4 with a homerun, three RBI’s and a run scored.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tKyle Weston also had a good day at the plate as he went 3-for-3 with one RBI and a run scored.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tFor the Stingers, Eddie Estrada would continue to swing a hot bat as he went 4-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. Starter Colton Boucher (3-1) would work five complete innings, scattering six hits and allowed one run while striking out four.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe win would go to Jack Czeszewski (3-0), taking the loss would be Tyler Heitmann (0-2), and the save would got to Grant Hamilton (3).\n<\/p>\n
\n\tMoonDogs will be back at The Frank tomorrow, Monday, where it is Brandon Crawford Bobble Head Night presented by Mankato Ford. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive this one-of-a-kind piece of MoonDogs memorabilia. Gates open at 6:05pm, with first pitch at 7:05pm. \n<\/p>\n
