\n\tMANKATO, MN—The Mankato MoonDogs, a member of the Northwood’s League, are excited to announce the addition of two more players to their 2016 roster. Chase Hamilton, Austin Peay, and Bryce Adams, LSU, will be joining the MoonDogs for their 15th<\/sup> season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tChase Hamilton is a speedy outfielder with a good eye at the plate coming to the MoonDogs from Austin Peay. So far this season, Hamilton has hit nine homeruns, drove in 33 runs and scored 35 times in just 32 starts for the Governors. Swinging a hot bat recently, last Friday against UT Martin, Hamilton went 3-4, with two homeruns and three RBIs.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHaving played high school ball in his hometown of Arlington, Tennessee, Hamilton finished his career at Arlington High with a .410 batting average and 17 home runs. In his junior season at Arlington, Hamilton batted .339 with three home runs and 24 RBI while also posting a 7-2 record with a 1.26 ERA on the mound, helping Arlington win the 2012 Class AAA State Championship.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBryce Adams is a slugging first basemen coming up to Mankato from Louisiana. A native to Baton Rouge, Adams now plays ball for his hometown college, LSU, having previously played in New Orleans for Delgado Community College. Having attended high school at Dunham High School, Adams was an All-State, All-Metro and All-District performer while batting .410 with seven home runs in his senior season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA 2015 NJCAA First-Team All-American at Delgado Community College, Adams batted .417 with 15 doubles, seven homers and 45 RBI while helping lead Delgado to the 2015 JUCO World Series. Adams has one homerun and six RBIs in three starts for the LSU Tigers so far this season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe MoonDogs are hoping these two southern gentlemen will be a big addition to the team as the season opener is fast approaching, now less than three weeks away.\n<\/p>\n
