Mankato scored at least one run in five different innings against the Eau Claire Express, winning the game 11-2 to eclipse their 2015 win total.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJake Roberts, Bryce Adams, and Jordan Washam each had two hits, with Washam and Roberts driving in two runs each in Mankato&#039;s win. Jeremy Quinlan earned his second win of the season for the MoonDogs, throwing 5.1 quality innings while allowing just four hits and two runs to the Eau Claire offense.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMankato got on the board early, when Washam and Roberts both hit RBI singles in the second inning to put the MoonDogs out to an early lead. Over the following two innings the MoonDogs brought home five more runs while loading the bases multiple times throughout the game.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWhile the &#039;Dogs piled up runs, Cooper Powell entered the game and threw a spotless 1.2 innings, striking out two in the relief appearance. Sean Terres allowed three base runners over his 2.0 innings of work, but did not allow a run. The big hit of the night came off the bat of Brett Newberg, who hit an opposite field home run in the ninth inning to tack on the final run for the MoonDogs. The homer was Newberg&#039;s second hit of the season.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMankato will take on Eau Claire in the regular season finale at 7:05 PM at Carson Park.
