LA CROSSE, Wis. \u2013<\/strong> The Mankato MoonDogs (18-8) and La Crosse Loggers (12-16) were just two outs from completing an official game, Monday at Copeland Park.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The MoonDogs led the contest 3-0 until the skies opened up in the bottom half of the fifth with one out which signaled a stoppage as tarps were brought out to shield the field from moisture. The nine-inning game will be resumed Tuesday in La Crosse at 5:05 p.m., with the originally scheduled game following it up as a seven-inning ballgame.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mankato grabbed a 3-0 lead with one run in the first and two in the second. In three at bats, Adrian Torres<\/strong><\/a> (Grand Canyon) had a single and a pair of RBI.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Starting on the hill for the MoonDogs was Blake Reilly<\/strong><\/a> (Grand Canyon). Reilly threw 4.1 innings of shutout baseball while allowing one hit. He walked one and had seven strikeouts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For the Loggers, Travis Luensmann<\/strong> pitched three innings, allowed five hits and three runs (two earned), walked four and had three strikeouts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The MoonDogs and Loggers will resume the game Tuesday at 5:05 p.m., as a nine-inning affair, with Tuesday\u2019s originally scheduled contest following it up, as a seven-inning game.<\/p>\n
