Mankato, Minn<\/b>– The Dogs are really bringing in some quality hitters this season. We welcome three players with a great ability to put the ball in play. Please help us in welcoming Preston Clifford, Treyton Rank, and James Tibbs!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Preston Clifford- Washington State<\/strong><\/p>\n

First, a returner for the MoonDogs, is infielder Preston Clifford. Preston had a superb season batting average of .295 to go along with 12 stolen bases. Clifford was also beamed 6 times, but he has that cougar toughness in him. Preston is a two year starter at second base for Washington State. With a career .983 fielding percentage and a career OBP of .330, Preston is the epitome of consistency. The Moondogs can\u2019t wait to welcome him back to ISG Field.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Treyton Rank- Florida State\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018Dogs are excited to announce Treyton\u2019s addition to the team! Treyton is a freshman from the University of Florida State. Starting as a true freshman in 16 games thus far this year. The Georgia native has been batting around .220 this year, and has made minimal errors to say the least. Posting a fielding percentage of above 90 percent as an infielder for the Semionles. The \u2018Dogs couldn\u2019t be more excited to bring the criminology major onto the roster.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"James Tibbs -Florida State\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another Seminole was added to the Roster in James Tibbs! Tibbs is an outfielder for the Florida State Seminoles. In his 19 games of play this year he is absolutely raking! Hitting .339 with an OPS above one thousand! Not only does he bring the bat to play, but he, too, is a stud in the field. Posting a perfect fielding percentage as well! The lefty is a Georgia native too, and the scouting report tells us he\u2019s got ice in his veins. We can\u2019t wait to see Tibbs in big moments this season!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 21st season of MoonDogs baseball begins with the Duluth Huskies coming to Mankato on May 30th at ISG Field.<\/p>\n
