FARMERS UNION INSURANCE THROWS THEIR SUPPORT BEHIND HONEYBEES SOFTBALL TEAM WITH SPONSORSHIP<\/b><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n MINOT, ND \u2013<\/b> As the Minot Honeybees softball team embark in their historic first season, the team aims to highlight the women in business who are supporting the team with their sponsorship. Lezlie Beuchler – an agent with Minot\u2019s Farmers Union Insurance branch – shared her thoughts on the strengths of women in her industry, the importance of community engagement in her role, and what supporting the Honeybees means to her and to Farmers Union in a recent video released by the Honeybees.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Beuchler discusses the importance of forming and maintaining connections with members of her community and specifically notes that traits that are clich\u00e9ly associated with women help her find success in her role, such as emotionality and interpersonality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cThe clients that come in – they\u2019re not just another number. We form relationships,\u201d Beuchler said. \u201cI ask them about their lives, and I remember it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n As founding sponsors of the Honeybees, Farmers Union Insurance is elated to uplift women and girls within their company as well as within the community, particularly in sports.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cJust like our industry has always been male-dominated, so has the sports world,\u201d said Beuchler. \u201cLocally, it\u2019s been really fun to have the Hot Tots baseball team. Now we\u2019ve got the Honeybees in town, and it\u2019s going to be great for the girls in Minot to see them succeed, have fun, and do well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Farmers Union will continue its sponsorship throughout the 2024 summer softball season.
