Minot, ND<\/b> \u2014 The Minot Honeybees are thrilled to bring back the Bombshells \u2014 their fan-favorite alternate identity \u2014 for a special one-night tribute on <\/span>July 31 at Corbett Field<\/b>, honoring the brave men and women of Minot Air Force Base.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of <\/span>Military Appreciation Night presented by Dakota Angus<\/b>, Honeybees players and coaches will take the field in custom Bombshells jerseys to face the Madison Night Mares. The evening will feature military-themed entertainment, special in-game recognitions, and exclusive deals for service members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Game-worn Bombshells jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, with all proceeds benefiting organizations that directly impact veterans and active duty military, thanks to Farmers Union Insurance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bombshells brand pays tribute to the iconic World War II nose art that decorated bombers and symbolized both crew morale and strength. It reflects a blend of military heritage and female empowerment, aligning with the Honeybees’ mission to honor tradition while blazing new trails.<\/span><\/p>\n

New this year:<\/b> The Minot Honeybees have teamed up with North Star Community Credit Union to offer <\/span>FREE tickets for active duty and retired military members and their families<\/b> to Military Appreciation Night on July 31. The Bombshells game comes during an exciting season for the Honeybees. As the second-to-last home game of the year, it\u2019s one of the final chances for fans to see this playoff-contending team in action at Corbett Field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Originally selected as the runner-up in the Honeybees\u2019 community team-naming vote, the Bombshells identity continues to embody everything the team stands for: strength, style, and a bold connection to Minot\u2019s Air Force legacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAlternate identities like the Bombshells add a unique layer of fun and storytelling to the summer ballpark experience,\u201d said Honeybees General Manager, Monica Hocking. \u201cThis brand lets us honor our military community in a meaningful way \u2014 while also empowering the next generation of athletes and fans.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Minot Air Force Base is home to the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing and is the only base in the Department of Defense to host two legs of the Nuclear Triad. With nearly 12,000 personnel, MAFB continues to play a vital role in our national defense and local community.<\/span><\/p>\n
