In years past, the Minot Hot Tots have found some of their best talent from the junior college ranks. This season sets up to be no different, with the addition of two more JuCo talents in 2026. They make up the newest <\/span>Acme and Kubota Tools on the Field.<\/b><\/p>\n Micah McCoy, Infielder, Illinois Central Community College<\/b><\/p>\n If you want a good example of a player bursting onto the scene, look no further than Illinois Central\u2019s Micah McCoy. The freshman from Washington, Illinois has been lighting up NJCAA Region 24. With a .426 average, 1.289 OPS, 12 home runs and 59 runs batted in, McCoy ranks as one of the best hitters in all of junior college baseball. His immediate success has caught the attention of many already, and McCoy will continue to do so in the Northwoods League.<\/span><\/p>\n In just his first year of collegiate action, the corner infielder already has a career highlight game. On March 22nd, McCoy went 5-for-6 at the plate, crushing two home runs and driving in nine runs in an 18-8 win over Vincennes.<\/span><\/p>\n McCoy\u2019s family is all about sports played on diamond. Micah\u2019s sister, Madi, was a Division I softball player and his older brother, Mason, has played 43 Major League Baseball games.<\/span><\/p>\n David Goldapper, Left-Handed Pitcher, LSU-Eunice<\/b><\/p>\n Hailing from the eight-time NJCAA national champion LSU-Eunice Bengals, David Goldapper will bring his big-game experience to Minot for the summer. Goldapper has been a fine bullpen arm for LSUE this spring, allowing one run or fewer in seven of his eight appearances in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n The Sunshine State southpaw was tabbed a top-15 left-handed pitcher in Florida for his 2024 class. After playing at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, one of the nation’s top prep baseball schools, Goldapper took a redshirt season in Eunice before making collegiate debut this spring.<\/span><\/p>\n LSU-Eunice has brought great talent to the Northwoods League before and Goldapper is a leader of the latest batch.<\/span><\/p>\n Kevin Rahe, Right-Handed Pitcher, University of Wisconsin-Superior<\/b><\/p>\n Last summer, Kevin Rahe brought his sidearm style of pitching to Corbett Field. In 2026, it will make its return. Now wrapping up his senior season at Wisconsin-Superior, Rahe has signed a full contract to play for the Tots this season.<\/span><\/p>\n Rahe pitched in 12 games for Minot in 2025, finishing with a 2-2 record as well as two saves. By August, he was heating up.
