Slider enters his 30th season of cheering on the Honkers and entertaining the fans at Mayo Field in 2026.\u00a0 \u00a0Known for acts such as leading the crowd in the “YMCA”, starting the “Wave”, and jumping on the visiting team’s dugout, Slider is the most popular mascot in the NWL. During the games he also keeps himself busy by helping out with on-field promotions, but will always stop and spend time with Honkers fans.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

A fixture at Honkers games and the annual Northwoods League All-Star Game, Slider has rubbed elbows with the likes of Harmon Killebrew, Kent Hrbek, Goldy the Gopher, Crunch of the Minnesota Timberwolves, TC the Bear, and Boston Red Sox all-time great Dick “The Monster” Radatz.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Slider welcomes you to Mayo Field and hopes to see you all season long as the Honkers aspire to win a sixth Northwoods League Championship!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n
