Being a part of the Rochester Honkers also gives you the opportunity\u00a0of working with\u00a0a five-time Northwoods League Champion as well as living in one of the top ranked cities in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The Rochester Honkers provide you the opportunity to be involved\u00a0in every possible aspect of the organization, which may include advertising sales,\u00a0on-field promotions, concessions management, ticket sales, merchandising, media relations, video production, photography and more. If you\u00a0really want to learn, all you have to do is ask and join in.<\/p>\n<p>The Honkers season is a fun-filled 72 game schedule with\u00a036 home games, one\u00a0League All-Star Game, and possible playoff games.\u00a0Summer Internships run approximately from mid-May until the third week of August. Winter and Spring Internships are flexible and can begin as early as January\u00a0and ending in\u00a0May. Our interns will acquire real-time working experience in a professional organization modeled after minor league and professional baseball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties of the internship may include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take pictures during all Rochester Honkers home games (away games schedule permitting)<\/li>\n<li>Update, organize, and maintain Honkers picutres on server<\/li>\n<li>Design graphics for various departments and events<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate mascot Slider\/player apperaances in the Rochester area<\/li>\n<li>Take pictures of Slider\/players with attendees at these events<\/li>\n<li>Informing Rochester and surrounding area of upcoming games creatively to generate fan attendance<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Honkers Store when needed (Merchandise and Ticket Sales)<\/li>\n<li>General office duties<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of tickets available and ticket packages<\/li>\n<li>Process ticket orders in the store and over the phone<\/li>\n<li>Customer relations<\/li>\n<li>Game day operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>All interns are expected to work outside of their \u201cinternship position\u201d to do what it takes to assist the ball club in ALL aspects of operations and will be called on to assist and take on many duties and responsibilities.\u00a0Internship hours can be extremely non-typical of a \u201cwork day\u201d including both nights and weekends.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge of taking photos, energetic &#8220;can do&#8221; attitude, willingness to work as part of a team, strong communication (phone, verbal, &amp; written) skills, strong computer skills, work well in a fast and intense environment, and knowledge of the game of baseball<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/rochester-honkers\/team\/employment\/summer-internships\/#Top\">Back to Top<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club has several full-time internships available each summer with full and part-time positions available for\u00a0winter and  [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":10232,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[15,28],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-10237","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-team-news","category-update-ticker"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v26.5 (Yoast SEO v26.5) -
