The junior is having a breakout season at New Mexico State University with 17 home runs and 78 runs batted in (RBIs). In addition to power, he can also hit for average as he has a .384 batting average. Factor in his 36 walks and he\u2019s got a .502 on-base percentage. Last year, while playing at Howard Community College in Texas, Peterson hit 3 homers and recorded 17 RBIs while posting a .358 batting average in 29 games. As a freshman, he played at Kansas State University. He hit 2 RBIs and recorded a .200 batting average with a .438 on-base percentage in 12 games. Before Kansas State, he starred at Canyon del Oro High School in Oro Valley, Arizona. There he was honored as a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2016 MaxPreps Second Team All-America selection, a 2016 Arizona First Team All-State, and a 2016 Rawlings First Team All-Region selection. As a senior, he hit .444\/.606\/.864 along with six home runs, 30 RBI, 46 runs scored and drew 33 walks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">George is a 5\u20198\u201d, 160-pound outfielder from Woodbury, Minnesota. The sophomore at University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) leads his team with a .388 batting average in 43 games. He has 10 extra-base hits (7 doubles, 2 triples, and a homer) and 19 RBIs. He is also a base-stealing threat as he\u2019s been successful in 19 of his 23 attempts this year. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact and saw the field in 43 of 45 games. George <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">started 42 outings, which tied for top team honors and he led the Bulldogs in stolen bases (he was 10-of-13 in that department). He also shared the top spot for runs scored (27) and RBIs (37) He finished second among Bulldogs in hits (45), total bases (49) and at bats (147). Before UMD, he attended New Life Academy and started for four years. He was a member of one Minnesota State High School Class A State champion (2015) and three Minnesota Christian Athletic Association title winners (2015-17).
