He then hit another solo bomb to lead off the seventh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brendan O\u2019Sullivan started an avalanche of late runs, homering in the sixth. He ended up going 5\/5 out of the nine hole, coming up a double shy of the cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dom Rodriguez had an RBI single and Jared Lewis hit a three-run homer to put the game out of reach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Honkers starter Cade Cushing had his best start of the year, tossing 7.2 innings without allowing an earned run. He struck out four and allowed just five hits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rochester rolled to the 11-1 win and improved to 9-3 in the second half. They will now go to Thunder Bay to play two against the second-place Border Cats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Rochester Honkers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019\/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and 2023 World Series Champion, 2021 and 2023 All-Star, MLB Gold Glove winner and two-time All-MLB first team shortstop Marcus Semien (TEX).
