\"\"<\/a>THUNDER BAY, Canada \u2013 The bats were hot as the Honkers combined for 13 hits to bring 12 guys across the plate as they rode their offense to a second consecutive win.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hayden Mullins made his first start of the year on the mound and pitched five strong innings, allowing only one earned while striking out seven. The outing earned him his first win as a pitcher in the Northwoods League.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Five Honkers had multiple RBI\u2019s on Saturday, led by Brandon Contreras with three. Contreras also recorded Rochester\u2019s first home run of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rochester and Thunder Bay will do battle once more tonight as the Honkers look for the first series win of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019\/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and 2023 World Series Champion, 2021 and 2023 All-Star, MLB Gold Glove winner and two-time All-MLB first team shortstop Marcus Semien (TEX).
