Despite a strong all-around effort, it wasn\u2019t enough in the end.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Allan Camarillo was sensational, collecting four hits\u2014including a double and a home run. Angel Cortez also stood out behind the plate, throwing out two would-be base stealers and a man at first to keep the Loggers quiet through the middle innings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was one of the bullpen\u2019s most impressive outings this season, holding La Crosse scoreless until the ninth. But once again, the Honkers couldn\u2019t close it out at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They\u2019ll have a shot at redemption tomorrow, as they face La Crosse again at Mayo Field. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. CT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Rochester Honkers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019\/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and 2023 World Series Champion, 2021 and 2023 All-Star, MLB Gold Glove winner and two-time All-MLB first team shortstop Marcus Semien (TEX).
