\n\t(Rochester, Minn.)-<\/strong> The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Dylan File and Trey Kamachi from Dixie State University.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFile is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound, right-handed freshman pitcher from St. George, Utah.  He signed his intent to play for the Red Storm in the fall of 2013. File graduated from Desert Hills High School where in his senior season he was known for his 90mph fastball which led his team to a 9-3 region record. He was 7-2 on the season with five saves, striking out 123 batters in 66 and two-thirds innings while compiling a 0.63 earned run average.  File’s efforts earned him 2014 All-Region 9 Baseball Team honors along with being named MVP of the region.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tKamachi (Kuh-MAW-chee) is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound, redshirted sophomore outfielder from Kapolei, Hawaii.  In his 2014 season with the Red Storm, after 125 at bats in 45 games, he finished with a .342 batting average with 52 hits and 32 RBIs.  Kamachi is the first Dixie State player to win the PacWest Freshman of the Year award and also took home an honorable mention in the West Region.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFor this upcoming 2015 season, Kamachi was among 5 Dixie State players to be selected to the Preseason All-PacWest team after helping his team post a 26-6 conference record last season.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rochester Honkers 22nd season begins on May 26th when the Mankato MoonDogs bark into Mayo Field for a 7:05pm first pitch.  Season Tickets, Bonus Books, Suites and Patios are now available. \n\tThe are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd <\/sup>season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (BOS) and Ben Zobrist (OAK).
