\n\tYovan earns two saves over the weekend.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n \n\t(Rochester, Minn.) – The Honkers appear to have their Ducks in a row as Oregon is starting to roll. Here is a look at the past week in Honkers collegiate baseball.\n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tMorgan McCullough (INF) – Oregon (11-4)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tMorgan McCullough, a true freshman, is one of only 3 Oregon players to start every game for the 11-4 Ducks. This past weekend in a four-game series sweep of Santa Clara at home, McCullough picked up a total of 4 RBIs and 3 walks. He sparked the Ducks offense on Thursday going 2-4 with 3 RBIs in the 6-2 win. \n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tMike Echavia (INF) – Nevada (4-11)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tEchavia continues to lead Nevada in hitting with his .347 average. He has started 14 of 15 games and now has seen action at first base to keep his bat in the lineup. This past weekend versus San Diego State, Echavia went 5-10 in the 3 games series, to no avail as the Wolfpack lost 2 games to 1.\n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tBeau O’Hara (RHP) – Texas (12-6)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tO’Hara saw his first action in over a week when he pitched a scoreless 6th<\/sup> inning in a 15-0 rout of Texas A&M Corpus Christi on March 8th<\/sup>. O’Hara has appeared in 4 games so far, pitching 4.1 innings, allowing 3 earned runs and striking out 3.\n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tDustin Demeter (INF) – Hawaii (9-5)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tDemeter’s 8 game hitting streak came to an end however his bat did not. Demeter went a combined 4-13 with 4 RBIs this past weekend in a four-game sweep at home versus Sacred Heart. He is one of 3 players to have started all 14 games for Hawaii. Demeter is currently hitting .300 with a team high 12 RBIs. David Noworyta saw his first action of the season on Saturday night, but didn’t get a chance to bat.\n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tGriffin Neuer (OF) – Bellarmine (10-6)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tNeuer continues his solid play for Bellarmine hitting .434 with a team high 15 RBIs. In a pair of double headers this past week, Neuer went 3-5 in a split with Lincoln Memorial on March 8th<\/sup>, then in a double header sweep of Tiffin on March 12th<\/sup>, Neuer went 5-8 with 3 RBIs. \n<\/p>\n \n\t \n<\/p>\n \n\tHighlight Player of the Week<\/u> <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tKenyon Yovan (RHP\/INF) – Oregon (11-4)<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n\tKenyon Yovan picked up two more saves this past weekend in a four game sweep at home versus Santa Clara. Save number four was Friday night when Yovan was called upon to pitch out the final 1.2 innings with a 2-0 lead. Yovan closed out the game, allowing only 2 hits, 1 unearned run and striking out 4 for the victory. Save number 5 was Sunday when he was once again called upon to start the 9th<\/sup> with a 3-0 lead, to close out the night and the win. Yovan got the first two batters out, but a hit by pitch and a runner reaching by an error proved to tense up the game with two outs and two on. Yovan got the next batter to ground out and give Oregon their 11th<\/sup> win, and save number 5.
