{"id":8987,"date":"2017-04-03T13:37:32","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T13:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/rochester-honkers\/?p=8987"},"modified":"2017-04-03T13:37:32","modified_gmt":"2017-04-03T13:37:32","slug":"honkers-sign-two-north-park-temp-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/rochester-honkers\/2017\/04\/03\/honkers-sign-two-north-park-temp-contracts\/","title":{"rendered":"Honkers Sign Two from North Park to Temp Contracts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>(Rochester Minn.) <\/strong>&ndash; The Rochester Honkers announced today the signing of two North Park University players to temporary contracts for the 2017 season.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCam Adams in a 5-foot-10, 205-pound redshirt junior catcher from Johnsburg, Illinois.&nbsp; He is currently hitting .238 with six RBIs and five doubles.&nbsp; Adams has started 13 games for the 8-13 North Park Vikings.&nbsp; Last year, Adams hit .275 with five doubles and 16 RBIs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJames Pagni is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior left handed pitcher from Elmhurst, Illinois.&nbsp; He is currently 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA.&nbsp; Pagni has appeared in 2 games, both starts, pitching only 4.0 innings and striking out 3.&nbsp; As a sophomore, Pagni posted a 1-2 record with a 5.40 ERA.&nbsp; He appeared in nine games, starting three, pitching 25.0 innings and striking out 19.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Rochester Honkers 24<sup>th<\/sup> season begins on Tuesday, May 30<sup>th<\/sup> when the team hosts the Mankato Moondogs in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. <strong>The NEW 5-Game Packs are available now! <\/strong>&nbsp;Season Tickets, &frac12; Season Plans, Suites and Patios are also available.
