\n\tStryffeler replaces Storm pitcher, David Lemasters, who is out due to injury<\/em>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t(Rochester Minn.) <\/strong>– The Rochester Honkers announced today the signing of right-handed pitcher Michael Stryffeler from Lake Erie College.  Stryffeler replaces Lake Erie pitcher, David Lemasters on the Honkers’ roster, who is out for the season due to an injury.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tStryffeler is a 6-foot-2, 210-pound junior from Sagamore Hills, Ohio.  He is currently 2-4 with a 6.57 ERA.  Stryffeler has made nine appearances on the season, six of them starts, pitching 37.0 innings, striking out 44 and walking only 18. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tAs a sophomore, he posted a 3-2 record in 17 appearances, with four saves.  In 35.0 inning of work, Stryffeler struck out 30.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rochester Honkers 24th season begins on Tuesday, May 30th when the team hosts the Mankato Moondogs in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm.
