Rivets Stadium is set to host the Legends Celebrity Softball Game on Saturday, July 15, featuring some of the most iconic names in Wisconsin and Chicago sports. This highly anticipated event will be an annual fixture for the Rockford Region, with proceeds going to support the Rockford Boy’s and Girl’s Club.

“I have had the pleasure of hosting 20 similar events throughout the country and each has been wildly successful. Where else can you get close to so many sports stars and even have a chance to meet them in person,” said Rivets President and GM Steve Malliet.

Sports enthusiasts and fans of all ages are eagerly anticipating this event, which promises to be a thrilling showdown between two teams of legendary athletes. Some of the biggest names in sports are scheduled to appear, including Mike Singletary of the Chicago Bears, Andre Dawson of the Chicago Cubs, Gilbert Brown, Ahman Green, George Teague, and Charles Jordan of the Green Bay Packers, and Paul Mokeski of the Milwaukee Bucks, with more players expected to be announced soon.
