\n\tLOVES PARK, Ill. – <\/strong>After a narrow loss against the Woodchucks on Thursday, Rockford was able to bounce back Friday night.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHunter Feduccia (LSU) shined again and the Rivets’ pitching was able to hold Wisconsin (18-27) to four runs as Rockford (23-21) defeated the Woodchucks 11-4 on Friday night.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rivets found themselves in an early 1-0 hole, but they were able to keep up early on. Hunter Feduccia (LSU) scored in the bottom of the 1st<\/sup> and the bottom of the 3rd<\/sup> for Rockford as the Woodchucks and Rivets were locked in early, 2-2.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the 3rd<\/sup> inning, Rockford was able to take control. Feduccia drove in Ryan Hutchinson (Illinois State) before scoring himself in the 4th<\/sup> inning to give Rockford a 4-2 lead.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the 5th<\/sup>, Feduccia drove in Trevor Paradoski (Texas Tech), adding to Rockford’s lead, and giving Rockford pitching enough cushion for the remaining innings.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRockford scored three runs in both the 6th<\/sup> and 7th<\/sup> inning thanks to Wisconsin errors. The Woodchucks was only able to manage four runs total over the course of the night as they fell 11-4.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMichael Kaska (Wisconsin-Whitewater) got the victory with four innings pitched in relief of Brandon Nowak (Oakton). Feduccia finished the night with four hits, four runs, and two RBI.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTomorrow, Rockford travels to Wisconsin Rapids for a two-game series before the All-Star Break Monday through Wednesday.
