Mequon, Wis. \u2013 <\/strong>After a delay of over two hours caused by rain and fog at Kapco Park, the Rockford Rivets (15-12) and Lakeshore Chinooks (11-16) made the call to postpone their game to later in the season.\u00a0The game was never able to get started.<\/p>\n

Because the Rivets are not scheduled to appear again at Kapco Park this year, the teams will play a double-header in their next meeting on July 19th<\/sup> at Rivets Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 PM, with the second game to start immediately after the completion of the first.<\/p>\n

The Rivets now focus their attention on a crucial double-header tomorrow with I-39 rival and first place Madison Mallards. The Mallards host the first game tomorrow at 12:05 PM in Warner Park, before the series shifts to Rivets Stadium for first pitch scheduled at 6:35 PM.<\/p>\n
