He went 2-5 from the plate with four RBIs on the day. Parker Bates, Kian O\u2019Brien, and Jacob Vander Wal all scored multiple times for Rockford.<\/p>\n<p>The bats for the Kingfish came early and often as they scored in every inning but the second and the sixth. They really drove the nail in the coffin with an eight-run spot put up in the bottom of the eighth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a toss-up every night,\u201d said Rivets\u2019 Manager Brian Smith, \u201cBut you got to tip your cap to these guys, you don\u2019t hit four home runs in a game by accident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Rivets take on the Kenosha Kingfish again on Wednesday, August 8<sup>th<\/sup>. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The Rockford Rivets are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
