\n\tLOVES PARK, Ill.<\/strong> – Three Lakeshore pitchers combined on a three-hitter as the Chinooks shut out the Rockford Rivets, 1-0, on Tuesday at Rivets Stadium.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tLakeshore starter Marshall Kasowski scattered three hits over five innings for the win. Kasowski (3-1) struck out nine and walked two. The Rivets were hitless against the Lakeshore bullpen. Nick Horvath held the Rivets to two walks over three innings and Jack Landwehr pitched a perfect ninth for his second save.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tRockford starter Anthony Dahl didn’t allow an earned run, but took the loss. The game’s lone run scored in the second inning, on a two-out error by shortstop Jordan Hovey on Kevin Riley’s grounder. Dahl (2-1) gave up eight hits and walked two, but struck out four and lasted a season-high seven innings.\n<\/p>\n
