College baseball is back! And several members of the 2025 Leprechauns squad have made impressive starts to their college careers. We\u2019ve highlighted five players to look out for at the Lucky Corner this summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Grant Bradley<\/a> (P)<\/b>, named the D1 Baseball Preseason Freshman of the Year, debuted for the University of Michigan on February 14th, contributing to an upset victory over No. 2-ranked Virginia. Bradley made his presence felt immediately, striking out the lone batter he faced. Bradley earned a spot on the MHSAA Dream Team during his time at Napoleon High School in Napoleon, Michigan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/b><\/p>\n

Parker Brzustewicz<\/a> (INF)<\/b>, a freshman at Notre Dame and the 2024 Detroit Free Press Baseball Player of the Year nominee from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, enjoyed a stellar collegiate debut against the University of North Florida. Brzustewicz went 3-for-5 at the plate, driving in two runs and scoring three times. In the month of February, Parker Brzustewicz put up an impressive slash line of .542\/.571\/.708.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aidan Donovan<\/a> (P)<\/b>, another Orchard Lake St. Mary’s alumnus, debuted for Michigan State on February 14th against Western Michigan. The two-time First-Team All-State honoree pitched three shutout innings, helping the Spartans secure a win. Donovan has been stellar on the mound for MSU, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings in his first two outings against Western Michigan and UCLA<\/span><\/p>\n

Freshman <\/span>Dylan Larkins<\/a> (OF)<\/b> made an immediate impact for Georgetown, earning Big East Weekly Honor Roll recognition after a stellar debut against Presbyterian. Larkins hit .571 with a .667 OBP, tallying four RBIs, two runs, four walks, and two stolen bases while reaching base in all three games of their opening series. A four-year starter and captain at University of Detroit Jesuit High School, Larkins batted .446 in his senior year before making his way to Georgetown. Overall, Larkins has been exceptional at the plate, hitting .333 with a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ohio University freshman <\/span>Matt Ineich<\/b><\/a> (INF) made a strong debut in the Bobcats opening series against Wofford, hitting .500 (5-for-10) over two games. After a 1-for-4 start, he delivered a breakout performance in Game 2, collecting four hits, including a double, while scoring twice and swiping a base. He did not slow down after this, stringing together a 7-game hit streak. A two-time First Team All-State selection at Detroit Catholic Central, Ineich is already proving to be a key contributor for Ohio.<\/span><\/p>\n
