<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>2026 Share the Glove Baseball Equipment Grant<\/h1><\/div>The St. Cloud Rox and the Northwoods League Foundation announced that the Milaca Youth Baseball Travel Association has been selected as the local recipient of the Share the Glove youth baseball equipment grant. <\/p>\n
With the Share the Glove equipment grant, Milaca Youth Baseball Travel Association was awarded with a collection of Rawlings baseball equipment, including a full set of catchers gear, batting helmets, fielding gloves, a bucket of baseballs and bats \u2013 totaling to a retail value of over $2,000. <\/p>\n
The Share the Glove initiative was developed to encourage participation in youth baseball and softball activities throughout the Northwoods League footprint and was introduced in 2018 and has continued every year after. The Northwoods League Foundation has awarded more than $50,000 in youth baseball and softball equipment through 26 Share the Glove grants in 2026. <\/p>\n
\u201cYouth sports participation plays an important role in developing character and strong communities, and we are proud to once again team up with the Northwoods League Foundation to support our area youth,\u201d said Scott Schreiner, Managing Partner of the Rox.<\/p>\n
The Northwoods League Foundation is a 501\u00a9(3) charitable organization that serves as a vehicle to transform a shared passion for baseball into positive change and support for communities. The mission of the Northwoods League Foundation is to utilize the game of baseball to enrich the quality of life for children and families with an enduring and caring focus on Northwoods League communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Share the Glove program is about showing up for our communities and empowering young athletes,\u201d said Tina Coil, Deputy Commissioner of the Northwoods League. \u201cWhen kids have the tools to play, we\u2019re not just supporting youth sports\u2014we\u2019re helping build the next generation of players, fans, and community leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n
