The Rox dropped last night’s season opener 6-3. The Rox bullpen allowed only 3 runs through 7 innings, while the offense hit the ball hard, and came up with 7 hits. Two of which were extra-base knocks.<\/p>\n

PLAYERS TO WATCH<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

ROX- <\/strong>Jackson Hauge went 1-3 with a single and a walk in last night\u2019s game. He hit .306 last season with 20 extra-base hits. He also won the Northwoods League Home Run Championship at the All-Star festivities in Bismarck last season.<\/p>\n

LARKS- <\/strong>French Shortstop Mathis Meurant went 0-3 and was hit by a pitch twice in last night\u2019s game. In his sophomore season with the Cochise College Apaches, he led the team in games played (55), runs (56), hits (73), doubles (15), triples (5), RBI\u2019s (49), batting average (.374), OBP (.461), and slugging percentage (.579).<\/p>\n
