LAST TIME OUT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The St. Cloud Rox (27-11) fell to the Badlands Big Sticks (23-15) 5-3 on Saturday and will close out the series on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Rox started the scoring early, with\u00a0Augusto Mungarrieta\u00a0(University of Kansas) delivering a two-RBI single in the first inning to give St. Cloud the 2-0 lead.<\/p>\n

St. Cloud found the scoreboard again in the seventh inning, as\u00a0Brenden Stressler\u00a0(University of Michigan) tapped on home to pull the contest back within two runs, trailing 5-3.<\/p>\n

The Rox held Badlands scoreless in seven innings but were just short in completing a comeback.<\/p>\n

PROBABLE STARTERS (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

STC-\u00a0<\/strong>Caden Leonard will make the start for St. Cloud. With Kent State this spring, he held an ERA of 4.13 with 31 strikeouts and 11 walks across 28.1 innings pitched. He made 22 appearances for the Golden Flashes in the spring. He made his Rox debut on Thursday where he pitched two-thirds of an inning with a strikeout and a walk.<\/p>\n

BBS-\u00a0<\/strong>Kobe Krenz will start the series finale for Badlands. He sports an ERA of 9.17 across 11 games and 17.2. innings where he has struck out 12, walked 11 and allowed 22 hits. In his last start, he went 4.2 innings against Mankato allowing two runs with three strikeouts, two walks, and allowed five hits in a 6-5 loss.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
