His first start was also four shutout innings against the Larks, and surrendered no hits.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Welcome Home Poe<\/strong><\/p>\n The heralded leader of the pitching staff, right-hander Hunter Poe, will make his first start at the Rockpile on Sunday as he makes his fourth outing of the season. Poe has gotten better and better as the season has worn on, making his best start on June 7 against Minot. He went a team-high eight innings allowing just one run on on five hits and struck out five. Poe’s eight innings was his longest outing since April 17 when he tossed eight innings of two-run ball against Schreiner (TX) with the McMurry (TX) War Hawks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Felling Gets Second Crack<\/strong><\/p>\n After a successful first start, left-hander Ethan Felling will get his second bite at the apple when he starts Monday’s contest for the Rox against Willmar. He allowed runs in just one of them, against Bismarck, and delivered hitless appearances in his first two.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We Meet Again<\/b><\/p>\n The Stingers are the first team that St. Cloud will face in a second series this year. In their earlier home-and-home four game set, the Rox won the first three, outscoring Willmar 22-10. Rother attended Western Oklahoma State this past season and is committed to Kansas for next school year.
