\n\tThe Rox managed to gut out a 4-1 victory tonight in Eau Claire, once again coming from behind, to finish their 5 game road trip a game over .500. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tSt. Cloud fell behind 1-0 right out of the gate, and the score remained that way until the top of the fourth inning.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tJoe Tietjen (UNC Asheville) lined a leadoff double into left field to give the Rox their first hit of the game. Connor Crane (Mcneese St.) followed the double with a 2-run moon shot over the left field fence to give St. Cloud a lead they wouldn't relinquish.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tSheldon Miks lasted 6 innings on the mound, allowing just 1 run on 5 hits with 3 strikeouts, as he baffled the Express with both his cutter and change-up from the moment he took the mound. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tEntering the top of the 7th, the Rox were hanging on to a 2-1 lead. Brandon Benson (Georgia College) led the inning off with a walk, and after Brett Pope (WCU) reached on error, Jake Farr (Tennessee Tech) singled into left-center to score Benson. Pope later scored on a wild pitch to extend the Rox lead to 4-1. \n<\/p>\n
\n\tBrian Glowicki (University of Minnesota) came on with one out in the 8th, and pitched 1 2\/3 innings to earn the save. He finished allowing 0 hits, one walk, and two strikeouts to help the Rox escape Eau Claire.\n<\/p>\n
