\n\tSt.Cloud, MN<\/strong> —  Shane Selman (McNeese State) made his first appearance for the Rox tonight and started his summer season with a bang. In the bottom of the 6th, the Leftfielder drove one over the wall to cut the Rox deficit to 5-2. Unfortunately, for St. Cloud that was the last run it would score for the rest of the game. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe only other offense came in the 1st after Mason Mamarella (Kent State) scored off a wild pitch following his leadoff walk. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tDominic Austing (St. Cloud State) picked up the loss, but still had a solid outiing. The Husky sophomore went 7 innings, and allowed 5 of his 6 hits in the first two innings. Once he settled in Austing made quick work of the Honkers lineup.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAusting's teammate this summer and during the year Kyle Boser (St. Cloud State) made his first appearance on the mound the same day he signed with the Rox. Boser pitched 3 innings and struck out 3 and did not allow a single hit.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rox look ahead now to series with the Larks this weekend! First pitch tomorrow is set for 6:05 PM with another game on Sunday at 4:05. Tomorrow's game promotion is Baseball Bat Giveaway presented by CentraCare Neurosciences Stroke Cener. 1st 300 kids 14 and under will receive a youth baseball bat. On Sunday, Books and Baseball Day presented by Initiative Foundation and United Way. 1st 200 families with a child 5 and under will receive a book and have the opportunity to read with players on the field starting at 3:05 PM, concluding at 3:30 PM.
