\n\tSt. Cloud, MN<\/strong> — The Rox had ample chances Tuesday night, but couldn't cash in enough. Following a lengthy rain delay, they made things interesting but just came up one run shy falling 7-6 to the Border Cats.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPlay stopped in the top of the 4th inning after a two run home run from Thunder Bay. When play resumed with the Rox up in the bottom half, Shane Selman (McNeese State) drilled a ball to Leftfield tying it up, and giving St. Cloud their 1st hit.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"\"\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLater, down 7-3 Selman was part of a rally with Matthew Tarantino (Pacific) and Keaton Kringlen (BYU). They all started the 7th reaching base safely, loading it up with no outs. Michael Busch (North Carolina) stepped up next and hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Tarantino. Trevor Putzig (Tennessee Tech) followed and delivered an RBI double that scored Selman and Kringlen.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rox would get the tying run to 3rd in the 9th but came up just short. Jackson Rose (Minnesota) kept them in the game in the top half of that inning by striking out 3 of the 4 batters he faced.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSt. Cloud takes the day off tomorrow before welcoming Bismarck to the Granite City. 1st pitch on Thursday will be at 7:05 PM where it will be Community All Stars Night sponsored by Sentry Bank. An Ultimate Rox Experience will be awarded to 11 local youth who have shown the 11 character traits of Jacob Wetterling. The Rox will wear special #11 jerseys and there will be a silent action during the game with proceeds supporting the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center.  \n<\/p>\n
