Duluth, MN \u2013 Ricardo Sanchez (Arkansas at Pine Bluff) and Ryan Weisenberg (Georgetown) registered two hits each but St. Cloud (21-25) fell to the Duluth Huskies (30-16), 7-2. The Rox finished with eight hits as a team. It was the final regular season meeting of the year between the two teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rox scored their first run of the game in the second inning when Ryland Kerr (Eastern Kentucky) scored on a passed ball. In the sixth inning, Weisenberg tripled down the right field line. Jack Barrie (Northwestern Ohio) hit a sac-fly to the outfield and was credited with an RBI that brought home Weisenberg. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Carlo Graffeo (Minnesota State-Mankato) started the game and pitched five innings. He struck out four batters and only allowed one walk. Jake Stevenson (Minnesota) tossed three innings in relief work and allowed one hit.<\/span><\/p>\n

St. Cloud turns its attention to the Willmar Stingers for a two game home series at the Rock Pile. Tomorrow\u2019s game is Summertime St. Patty\u2019s Night as the Rox will wear green jerseys. First pitch time is scheduled for 6:05.<\/span><\/p>\n
