Jack Weiss (Jefferson CC) led off the inning with a base hit and came around to score the tying run on a single by Jesus Vasquez (University of Hawaii). Justin Anctil (Texas State University), who was hit by a pitch following the Weiss single, came into score the go ahead run on an RBI groundout by Bennett Crafton (Bradley University). Stevie Waters (University of British Columbia) went 2-for-4 in the win and collected five hits in the doubleheader, raising his batting average to .306.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Alex Kean (UNC at Asheville) made a rare appearance on the mound and pitched two scoreless innings in relief to get the victory, including a strikeout with the bases loaded to end the game.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The two teams will play another doubleheader Sunday at Copeland Park beginning at 4:05pm ET.
