The returning pitcher from California allowed only one run, two hits and one walk in five innings in the 19-6 loss for the Cats.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBorder Cats starting pitcher Anthony Morris (St. Thomas Aquinas College) went 3.1 innings allowing 11 hits and eight runs and only one strike out. Brendan Kalaf (Stony Brook) closed out the game with two hits and three runs in 1.1 innings.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tReturning third baseman Kyle Comer (Minnesota Duluth) was the first to put the Cats on the board in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> inning notching one run and one RBI in three at bats; while first baseman Mikael Mogues (Seton Hall) lead the Cats with three hits and one RBI in five at bats. &nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Border Cats look to redeem themselves Friday evening at Bill Taunton Stadium in Willmar at 8:05pm EST \/ 7:05 CST.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:11px\">The Border Cats are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd&nbsp;season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner&nbsp;Max Scherzer&nbsp;(WAS) and MLB All-Stars&nbsp;Chris Sale&nbsp;(CWS),Jordan Zimmermann&nbsp;(WAS),&nbsp;Curtis Granderson&nbsp;(NYM),&nbsp;Lucas Duda&nbsp;(NYM) and&nbsp;Ben Zobrist&nbsp;(OAK).
