\n\tCATS CATCH THEIR FIRST WIN<\/u><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThunder Bay, Ont. – The Thunder Bay Border Cats picked up their first win Thursday night in Willmar, MN against the Stingers.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tNewcomer Joey Burris (Southeast Missouri) notched his first win with the Cats allowing only two hits over 2.2 innings while striking out five. Catcher Robert Boselli (Mercer County) helped the Cats to victory with three runs on three hits while picking up three RBI’s. Shane Shepard (North Carolina) also put up three runs on three hits.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Cats look for their second win of the season in Willmar at 7:05pm CST \/ 8:05pm EST.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Thunder Bay Border Cats are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
