After five innings Churchill allowed six runs on nine hits while striking out three. Austin Ledin (Bethel University) picked up his first two runs as a Border Cat.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGame two the Border Cats found themselves on the losing side of a 17-10 game. Starting pitcher Joey Burris (Southeast Missouri) was the one to take the loss for the Cats going the first two innings allowing 14 runs on 15 hits. Austin Ledin added three more runs on three hits while Jordan Gillerman (St. John&rsquo;s) notched two runs on two hits and one RBI and Bobby Honeyman (Stony Brook) helped the Cats with two runs on four hits and two RBI.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Border Cats start a two game series against the Eau Claire Express Thursday at 6:35pm CST \/ 7:35pm EST in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t___\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<em>The Thunder Bay Border Cats are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
