Bucks Seeking Nominations for 2018 First Responder Baseball Card Set

Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Bucks are seeking nominations for the inaugural First Responder Appreciation baseball card set.  The card set will honor those who are currently serving or have served the Cedar Valley area as an EMT, Police Officer, or Firefighter.

The card set will be given away to the first 500 fans that enter Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium for the Bucks’ First Responder Appreciation Day on Sunday, July 15th.  That day, the Bucks take on the Eau Claire Express at 2:05 pm.  Tickets to the game will be available starting May 1.  Those first responders selected to appear in the card set and their families will be honored on the field prior to the game and will receive complimentary tickets to that game.

Nominations for the First Responder Appreciation baseball card set will begin immediately.  The first 20 submissions will make it into the 2018 card set, so individuals are urged to turn in their nominations right away. Nominations will be taken until April 15th, OR until 20 submissions are received.
