Waterloo, Iowa \u2013 The Waterloo Bucks have announced the date of their 13th<\/sup> \u201cHit for the Cycle\u201d Poker Bike Ride, presented by SCHEELS. \u00a0Sunday, July 17 will be the date of the event which will feature stops at various bars and restaurants in the Cedar Valley.\u00a0 Download the 2022 Hit for the Cycle Bike Ride Form by Clicking Here<\/a><\/p>\n

Registration will begin at 10:00 am at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium with the ride starting at 10:30 am where bicyclists will begin the ride of approximately 20 miles with stops at BJ\u2019s Bar, Doughy Joey\u2019s Pizza Joynt, The Pump Haus Pub & Grill, and The Screaming Eagle American Bar & Grill.\u00a0 Riders will receive a playing card at each stop for their chance to win prizes for the best five-card poker hand. \u00a0In addition, the Bucks will give away prizes during each inning of that afternoon\u2019s Bucks game versus the Eau Claire Express for all Poker Ride participants.\u00a0 Game time is 2:35 pm with gates opening at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Riders will have two options for registration. Option 1 costs $25 and riders will receive a t-shirt, reserved seat ticket to that day\u2019s Bucks game, sandwich item, bag of chips, and a beverage. \u00a0Option 2 costs $37 and provides riders a t-shirt, ticket to that day\u2019s Bucks game, and a pass to the Budweiser Party Deck.<\/p>\n

Registrations can be picked up at the Souvenir Stand at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium or online at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a>. All pre-registration forms must be returned to the souvenir stand or mailed to Waterloo Bucks, P.O. Box 4124, Waterloo, IA 50704. Pre-registration is not mandatory, but order forms turned in by noon on July 8 will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Riders may also register at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium on the day of the ride.<\/p>\n

The Bucks are in the midst of a seven-game homestand, playing the La Crosse Loggers tonight at 6:35 pm.\u00a0 Tickets are available for all games at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a> or by calling the Bucks Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633.\u00a0 Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium, home of the Bucks, welcomed a new state of the art video board in 2016 thanks to a matching grant from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association.\u00a0 Team ownership has invested nearly $400,000 in stadium improvements since the end of the 2014 season including group outing areas, painted bleachers, public Wi-Fi, sound system, kids zone inflatables, wiffle ball field, and concessions equipment.\u00a0 Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a> or utilizing the Northwoods League Mobile App.<\/p>\n
