WATERLOO, Iowa \u2013 A night after the Bucks scored four in the bottom of the ninth, they allowed five in the top of the first.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Waterloo Bucks (5-16) fresh off a walk-off victory over the Loggers welcomed the Rochester Honkers (9-12) to Riverfront Stadium for the final game of its seven-game homestand.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, the Honkers would pounce all over the Bucks in the first inning. With Owen Puk on the mound, Rochester had its first five batters reach, capped off by a Kimo Fukofuka three-run home run down the right field line. Rochester led 5-0 after just a single half-inning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Waterloo would attempt to battle back against Frank Craska in a start even he wasn\u2019t expecting to make. Lance Santerre was supposed to take the baseball in the first for the Honkers, but a strained oblique during warmups forced him into the dugout, and Craska was put on duty for Tuesday\u2019s game.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the first inning, Puk settled in and pitched the next four innings scoreless. Craska would go through seven and a third only allowing two Buck runs as the Honkers would take the victory 6-2 adding another in the top of the seventh.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bucks finish their homestand at 4-3 and now hit the road for a five-game road trip to Rochester, Duluth, and then back to Rochester. After a single game with the Honkers at Mayo Field, the Bucks travel north to play their final two games this season at Wade Stadium in Duluth. Finally, they return to Rochester to play a two-game road series before returning home.<\/span><\/p>\n
