DULUTH, Minn. \u2013 For the 10th<\/sup> straight road game, things were looking bleak for the Bucks. That is, until the sixth inning.<\/span><\/p>\n

With Keaton Parker making his fourth start of the season, the Waterloo Bucks (6-18) knew they had a good shot to take a win from the Duluth Huskies (13-12). But in the third inning, Kristian Campbell and Eduardo Rosario struck for a single and a double respectively to put the home team on the scoreboard first, 1-0.<\/span><\/p>\n

More zeros would fill the scoreboard over the right-centerfield wall at Wade Stadium until the top of the sixth inning when Naighel Calderon hit a leadoff single. He would later be driven in, along with Tai Walton when Jake Wilhoit grounded into an RBI fielder\u2019s choice aided by two errors in the field by the Huskies.<\/span><\/p>\n

A batter later, Liam Critchett would send a blast into right field for his first of the season to add another couple of runs on the scoreboard and the Bucks claimed a 4-1 lead.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the bottom of the sixth, Keaton Parker would get out of a bases-loaded jam forcing Devin Hurdle to fly out to center with two outs in the inning, Parker would finish the ballgame pitching six innings, allowing just one run, striking out six Duluth batters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aaron Treloar and Trent Reddick swept up the rug, but not before Duluth made it more interesting in the bottom of the ninth. Down to their final out, the Huskies scored off an RBI double by Jonathan Vastine. However, the rally would only last the one batter as Reddick struck out Kristian Campbell to give the Bucks the win, 4-2.<\/span><\/p>\n

The win snapped a nine-game road losing streak for the Bucks dating back to the first of the month. Keaton Parker took the win on the mound for his third of the season, while Trent Reddick recorded the six-out save for his first save of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n
