                The Waterloo Bucks lost their second game of the series to the Madison Mallards by a score of 2-1. After watching the Mallards (5-4) one-up their third inning score, the Bucks (6-5) were unable to close the gap and ended the game one run short.<\/div>\n
                Bucks’ starting pitcher Scott Lieser (1-1) was credited with the loss. Lieser allowed nine hits and two runs in seven innings before being replaced with closer Luke Putz. Lieser also recorded six strikeouts and only a single walk. Putz pitched for only one inning but did <\/i>manage to record a strikeout. Mallards’ starting pitcher Tyler Jones (1-1) walked away with the win after allowing four hits and one run in five innings on the mound.<\/div>\n
                DH Tyler Robbins had a nice night for Waterloo on offense. Robbins batted a perfect three-for-three and scored the Bucks only run. C Jonathan Crist and RF Nick Anderson also had one hit apiece for the Bucks who only managed to tally five hits the entire game.<\/div>\n
                In the field, the Bucks managed to turn two double plays, one by both 1B Jake Astor and SS Zach McCool. The Bucks also had two errors on the night, one of which allowed the Mallards to take the lead in the bottom of the third inning.<\/div>\n

                The Bucks will give the Mallards one more shot tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 P.M. at Warner Park in Madison, WI. Zach Cooper (0-1) is projected to start for the Bucks against Mallards’ starter Dillon Napoleon (0-0).<\/div>\n
