After twelve innings and a seventeen minute power outage, the Bucks have claim a win.  Tonight’s game against the Madison Mallards was a battle of rattling bats and solid defense.  The Bucks finally pulled out of the game with a 8-7 win.<\/p>\n

At the plate, bats exploded as the Bucks recorded fourteen hits on the night.  Multiple hits came from CF Willie Argo, LF Pat Stover, DH Jake Astor, 3B Brandon Williams, C Jeremy Lucas, and SS Chase Jaramillo.  2B Zach McCool, 1B Ryan Rieger, and RF Landon Anderson all recorded one hit on the night.  Williams and Lucas (pictured) lead the team with three RBIs a piece and Ryan Rieger pulled off one RBI.<\/p>\n

Five Bucks made appearances on the mound tonight. Starting pitcher Corey Witkowski pitched five and two-thirds inning giving up nine hits and five runs.  With six strikeouts, Witkowski’s ERA moves to 5.53.  Relief pitcher Steven Richardson wrapped up the sixth inning for Witkowski giving up two hits and one run and striking out one.  Matt Grabowski and Luke Putz both had brief appearances on the mound tonight.  Putz pitched two innings, striking out five batters for five of the six outs.  Unfortunately, Putz gave up the tieing run leading the Bucks into extra innings.  Closing pitcher and utility player, Phil Keppler, took control of the mound for the three extra innings walking one and striking out one.  Keppler was credited with tonights win.<\/p>\n
