 Box Score<\/a><\/p>\n

The Bucks fell to the Moondogs on Saturday by a score of 10-3. The blue and yellow pitching was struggled all night as they gave up 18 hits in all. This was the Bucks second to last game of the season and pushes them to 34-35 on the season. The Moondogs move to 42-27 on the season as they have already clinched a spot in the playoffs.<\/p>\n

After a scoreless first inning in which Dan Sheppard threw out a runner at second, the Moondogs got on the board first when Andrew Coffman hit a RBI single to score two runs. Danny Murphy would drive in another run to put the visitors up 3-0.<\/p>\n

The home team came back with one run in the next inning to cut the lead to two. Thomas Lindauer hit a triple to start off the inning and a groundout to the shortstop by Connor McCallum allowed him to score.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the Moondogs took control from there on out, scoring two runs in the 5th<\/sup> and four more in the 6th<\/sup> to take a 9-1 lead.<\/p>\n

The Bucks would threaten later in the game but struggled to break through. Connor McClain and Benny Roberts hit back-to-back singles in the 6th<\/sup> but were unable to score. In the 7th<\/sup>, the home team loaded the bases but a double play ended that scoring attempt. They finally got on the board again in the 8th<\/sup> when Sheppard was driven in by a double hit by Jordan Adams.<\/p>\n

After the visitors scored one run in the 9th<\/sup> to make it 10-3, the Bucks would make a comeback attempt in the bottom of the inning. An error and two walks by the Moondogs loaded the bases for Roberts who drew the third walk in a row and scored Lindauer. Unfortunately with the bases loaded and no outs, the Bucks struck out, popped out to second, and grounded out to shortstop to end the game at 10-3.<\/p>\n

Justin Grijalva started the game for the blue and yellow and was only able to go three innings, giving up three runs with five walks and three strikeouts. Michael Edlefsen came in next and gave three more innings, giving up six runs on ten hits. Chris Dunn was able to slow the scoring finally with two shutout innings. He also had four strikeouts and one walk. The last pitcher on the night was Conan Leon, who gave up one run in his one inning of work.  <\/p>\n
