{"id":1902,"date":"2013-07-08T18:51:24","date_gmt":"2013-07-08T18:51:24","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T05:00:00","slug":"chesnyyoungnamedakaservicesbucksplayeroftheweek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/waterloo-bucks\/2013\/07\/08\/chesnyyoungnamedakaservicesbucksplayeroftheweek\/","title":{"rendered":"CHESNY YOUNG NAMED AKA SERVICES BUCKS PLAYER OF THE WEEK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced that third basemen Chesny Young has been named the AKA Services Bucks Player of the Week.&nbsp; Young, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, is currently a sophomore at Mercer University.<\/p>\n<p>Young&nbsp;appeared in&nbsp;six games over the week and hit .560 with nine RBI&#8217;s, three triples, and two doubles.&nbsp;&nbsp;Young&#8217;s week was highlighted on Saturday against the Rochester Honkers. He went 5 for 6 with two triples,&nbsp;a double, and four RBI&#8217;s. <\/p>\n<p>Young has been a model of consistency this season.&nbsp;Currently,&nbsp;he is in the top three of every major statistical batting&nbsp;category on the team.&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, he&nbsp;is tied for the&nbsp;Northwoods League lead in&nbsp;triples this season with three.&nbsp;&nbsp;So far this season, Young is batting .333 with 19 RBI, 26 runs, 9 doubles, and three triples.<\/p>\n<p>AKA Power Washing services most neighboring counties and is committed to offering residential, commercial, and industrial entities with the most courteous, timely and professional power washing service available.<\/p>\n<p>The Bucks return home on Frday, July 12th at 6:35 p.m. They will be&nbsp;facing the Alexandria Blue Anchors&nbsp;in a double header.
