Waterloo, Iowa \u2013 The Waterloo Bucks have released their 2025 Community & Economic Impact Report<\/a> after donating nearly $90,000 to local organizations during the calendar year.<\/p>\n

The Bucks supported local businesses by purchasing goods and services from area vendors, including stadium signage, apparel, concessions, and waste management. These partnerships infused the Cedar Valley economy with the Bucks spending nearly $300,000 with 60 different vendors this past season.\u00a0 The organization partnered with 24 different area restaurants to provide over 5,000 individual meals for visiting and home teams and umpire crews.\u00a0 The Bucks also partnered with three different hotels in the area to house teams and umpire crews, totaling in 520 room nights.<\/p>\n

In 2025, the Bucks employed 97 full-time, game-day, interns, and event staff members.\u00a0 Sixty-five percent of Bucks interns relocated to the Cedar Valley for the summer.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Bucks held a total of 55 events at Riverfront Stadium in 2025, drawing over 50,000 attendees.\u00a0 Bucks games drew fans from 26 different states.\u00a0 Additionally, fans from 41 different Iowa counties traveled to Waterloo to enjoy a Northwoods League game.\u00a0 These out-of-town visitors often spent money at local restaurants and stayed at local hotels, adding to the area\u2019s revenue.<\/p>\n

A total of 59 college baseball players passed through Waterloo to play for the Bucks, most coming from outside the region, further enhancing the local economy with their presence and spending.<\/p>\n

The Bucks are excited to continue supporting the local economy in the coming years.<\/p>\n
