La Crosse, WI – Colin Coonradt crushes two home runs and tallies three RBIs, but it was not enough as the Loggers tally 14 hits, and draw 13 walks to kick the offense into gear and sweep the Bucks 11-5 in game two of the series Sunday night.<\/span><\/p>\n

After getting beat by 13 runs Saturday night, the Bucks took an early lead on Sunday. In the top of the first inning, Colin Coonradt lasered a home run to right field to give Waterloo a 1-0 edge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the bottom of the first, La Crosse responded. Two walks and a single loaded the bases with nobody out, then two straight wild pitches gave the Loggers a 2-1 advantage. Now with two outs, a bases-loaded walk forced another run in to make it 3-1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the top of the third, the Bucks got a run back. Mitchell Iliff walked with one out, then an error and another walk loaded the bases. Next up, Dane Most lifted a sacrifice fly to left to plate Iliff and cut the lead in half, 3-2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the top of the fourth, Coonradt crushed a 3-0 fastball for another solo home run to even the tally at 3-3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the bottom of the fourth, La Crosse extended their lead. A two-out double from Joey Senstock was brought in on a wild pitch to make it 4-2. After a walk and a single, Sebastian Hurtado laced a double to right to bring both runners around to score to double the lead, 6-3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the top of the sixth, the Bucks crawled closer. Most singled, then George Baker doubled, and a walk loaded the bases to open the frame. With one out, Coonradt walked to push in a run, 6-4.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the bottom of the sixth, the Loggers pulled away. Two singles started the inning, then Mana Lau Kong pushed an RBI single to right to bring in a run to make it 7-4. Next up, Lukas Buckner ripped a single back up the middle to bring home a run to grow the lead to 8-4. One batter later, Lau Kong scored on a wild pitch to make the lead 9-4.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the top of the seventh, Waterloo loaded the bases with nobody out. With one out in the inning, Baker got hit by a pitch to cut the lead to 9-5. That was as close as the Bucks got as the Loggers put two more on the board in the bottom of the seventh to beat Waterloo 11-5 and sweep the Bucks.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the loss, Waterloo goes to 10-15 on the season and 1-6 on the road trip. The Bucks head home for a matchup against the Rochester Honkers. Game one of the home-and-home is scheduled for Monday night at 6:35 pm. Both starters in the game are TBD.<\/span><\/p>\n
