Waterloo, Iowa \u2013 The Waterloo Bucks have teamed up with Peoples Community Health Clinic to host a baseball camp on Saturday, August 1 at 12:00 pm.\u00a0 The camp is open to children ages 17 and under and the cost to attend is $25 per participant.\u00a0 Each camper will receive a reserved seat ticket to that night\u2019s Bucks game versus the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.<\/p>\n

Bucks players will run the camp. \"\"<\/a> Individuals interested in attending the clinic may sign-up in advance through Play\u2019N Sports<\/a> or on the day of the camp.\u00a0 All participants will need to bring a baseball glove and must fill out a Player Information Sheet\/Waiver which will be available online at www.waterloobucks.com<\/a>, at the Riverfront Stadium Guest Services Table, or at registration on the day of the camp.\u00a0 Registration will start at 11:30 am.\u00a0 For more information, contact the Bucks office at (319) 232-0500.<\/p>\n

Peoples Community Health Clinic, the presenting sponsors of the baseball camp, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center guided by its Mission statement. Care is provided no matter what a person\u2019s financial situation is. Both uninsured and insured patients are welcome.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the 2026 season are currently on sale online, through the Bucks Ticket Line at (319) 232-5633, or in person during Ticket Office Hours (Monday-Friday plus gamedays, 11:00 am-5:00 pm).\u00a0 Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks by utilizing their website at <\/em>www.waterloobucks.com<\/em><\/a> or utilizing the Northwoods League Mobile App.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

The Waterloo Bucks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Now in its\u2019 33rd<\/sup> season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in history with 26 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff, nearly 2400 NWL alums have been drafted and over 400 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time All-Star and 2016 Roberto Clemente Award winner Curtis Granderson, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (TOR), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist and Brandon Crawford and World Series Champion Chris Sale (ATL). As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019\/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (BAL) and 2023 World Series Champion, MLB All-Star, MLB Gold Glove, two-time Silver Slugger winner and two-time All-MLB first team shortstop Marcus Semien (TEX).
